Top 5 culinary destinations in Punta Pacifica

punta pacifica

Punta Pacifica is renowned for its luxury, convenience, security, family-friendly environments, breathtaking Pacific views, and outstanding culinary scene. As an epicurean and lover of fine dining, I’ve enjoyed some of the best culinary experiences this exclusive area of Panama offers. Here are my top six favorite spots for exceptional dining (in no particular order):

  1. Petit Paris

Experience a taste of Paris with stunning ocean views. This bakery and restaurant offers a unique ambiance where you can enjoy cocktails by the sea and dishes made with fresh, healthy ingredients. My favorite time to visit is at sunset when the sky’s colors create the perfect setting for a glass of wine, fondue, a charcuterie board, or a coffee with an éclair. It’s a charming spot to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

  2. Lima Nikkei

A trendy restaurant blending the best of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. Its sophisticated atmosphere makes it perfect for a romantic date or a night out with friends. I highly recommend the ají de gallina empanadas, seafood chaufa, and ramen. A little tip: the bartender makes an amazing pisco you must try.

  3. Ciao Bella

A classic spot for family gatherings. Its spacious terrace is perfect for get-togethers with family or friends, and it’s ideal for those who want to bring their pets. They also offer gluten-free options, making it an inclusive choice for everyone. It’s the perfect place for a social or business meeting or simply enjoying a pleasant meal with good company.

  4. Noa Nikkei

This Japanese fusion restaurant stands out not only for its excellent cuisine but also for its nightly dance shows, turning the dining experience into a full event. In my opinion, their cocktail variety and quality are the best in the city. The service is exceptional, ensuring your experience is memorable both in terms of food and entertainment.

  5. So Hot

For a different culinary experience, So Hot offers a casual hot pot concept. You can choose from a variety of sauces, proteins, and snacks. There are also some exquisite dishes from the kitchen—Asian exquisite dishes—options for the whole family. Perfect for those looking for an interactive, flavorful experience in a casual, relaxed setting.

  6. KIKITOO

The newest addition to Punta Pacifica’s dining scene, KIKITOO is the second branch of Blame Kiki, offering a dairy kosher menu with certifications including Bishul, Chalav Israel, and Temidi. Located in Grand Plaza, this restaurant provides an international cuisine experience in a casual dining setting. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking a fresh and inclusive dining option.

These establishments not only offer exceptional cuisine but also contribute to the vibrant and diverse dining culture that makes Punta Pacifica a true haven for food enthusiasts. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, exploring these culinary gems will undoubtedly enhance your appreciation of this remarkable neighborhood.
